Camela Raymond, Communications Manager

Camela Raymond works with HDC’s internal teams to support and craft communications that raise awareness, build connection, and motivate action. A member of HDC’s administrative team since 2012, Camela manages HDC’s content strategy and works with HDC teams to develop communication tools and messaging strategies to support client and business needs. Previously Camela has worked as a communications consultant, freelance writer, and magazine editor and publisher. Her journalism experience includes comanaging Open Housing, an Agora Journalism Center project aimed at strengthening the information ecosystem that supports civic engagement around housing issues. Camela has a bachelor’s degree in modern culture and media from Brown University and has studied creative writing at Portland State University and elsewhere.
