The future looks bright at Bienestar's Montebello Apartments.

Forty-nine families, including roughly 100 school-age children, live affordably and close to urban amenities at Bienestar’s Montebello Apartments in downtown Hillsboro. Bienestar partnered with HDC to finance and manage a thorough renovation of the 20-year-old apartment complex, which was suffering from water intrusion issues. Completed in March, by a development team including Scott Edwards Architecture and LMC Construction, the project replaced all four building envelopes, updated interior finishes and outdoor gathering spaces, and reconfigured former office space to create two new apartment units.
